Q. How many interns do you need to participate in the event?
A. The 2016 Games will be comprised of teams of 10. Each team is allowed five sub-ins that can sub in and out as long as there are only 10 participants per team competing at one time.

Q. If I have more than 10 interns, can the other interns still come to the event?
A. Yes! We encourage your organization to bring other interns to enjoy the space and cheer on their team. Since each organization has a range of interns, if we have to put a cap on the number of people attending based on venue capacity, we will let you know as soon as we can so that you can plan accordingly.

Q. Will food be served at the event for our interns?
A. Yes, the event will be catered with light fare and beverages. No alcohol will be served at this event, as some participants are under 21.

Q. Will our interns receive t-shirts for the event?
A. Yes, the interns participating in the actual games will receive t-shirts.  T-shirts can be picked up at registration at the start of the event.  There will be changing areas available at the venue.

Q. Is there a hashtag to talk about the event?
A. Of course! #internbattle

Q. Will our organization have access to the photos and video taken at the event for our own use?
A. Yes, absolutely!  We will post photos and video on this website at the conclusion of the event and encourage you to use them to promote your company’s culture.  We also encourage you to share any photo or video that you take at the event using #internbattle.

Q. Is there a deadline our organization has to sign up by?
A. Slots are filled for 2016 but contact us to put your name on the wait list or for 2017.

Q. Will all of our interns attending be able to network?
A. Yes! The event encourages networking with all of the other leading tech companies in attendance. We encourage each organization participating to bring an HR representative.

Q. My team plans to bus our players and fans to The Lawn on D. Is that OK? 
A. Yes! You are welcome to bus your players and fans to The Lawn on D, however we have to give the staff at the venue advanced notice.  If you do plan to bus, please notify Nikki D’Addario by Monday, July 18.
